Absolutely. We're based in Lakeland, Florida, but you'll regularly find us playing shows throughout Tampa, St. Pete, Orlando, and across Central Florida. If your event is a little farther off the beaten path, don't be shy—we're always up for a road trip. For venues that require significant travel or overnight accommodations (especially after a late night of making music and memories), additional travel fees may apply. If you're wondering whether you're too far away, the answer is probably: not as far as you think. 🤘🏻 Just tell us where the party is, and we'll see what we can make happen.

Absolutely. We provide microphones, a PA system, and basic stage lighting for most bars, private parties, community events, and venues. Every event is a little different, so we'll review your venue, guest count, and setup requirements during the booking process to make sure everyone can hear—and see—the show clearly. From intimate gatherings to packed venues, our goal is simple: great music, great sound, and a smooth experience from load-in to the final encore. 🤘 For outdoor events or non-traditional venues, we'll also confirm access to adequate power for our sound and lighting equipment. If additional accommodations are needed, we'll work with you ahead of time to ensure everything is set up for a successful event.

Long enough to keep the crowd singing. Short enough to leave them wanting one more song. Our live performances are typically 3-4 sets, which typically run 45–60 minutes each, with brief breaks between sets to keep the energy high and the music flowing throughout the event. Every event is a little different, so we'll work with you to build a performance schedule that fits your venue, timeline, and crowd. Whether you're looking for a few hours of live music or entertainment throughout the evening, we'll help create the right flow for your event.

Mayyyyybe! The Bitter Riffs carefully builds each setlist around the audience, venue, and overall vibe of the event, which helps keep the energy high and the crowd engaged throughout the night. For private events, we're happy to consider a small number of song requests with advance notice. If there are a few special songs you'd love to hear, send us a list of 3–5 requests at least three weeks before your event, and we'll do our best to work one or more of them into the show. While we can't guarantee every request will make the setlist, we'll always try to create a performance that feels personal, memorable, and tailored to your crowd.

Sometimes—but not always. For private events, weddings, and larger bookings, we typically require a signed agreement and a retainer to lock in your date. The amount varies depending on the event, travel requirements, and any additional planning involved. For bars, restaurants, breweries, and community events, payment arrangements are often a little more flexible and may not require a retainer at all. Either way, we'll walk through everything upfront so there are no surprises. Our goal is simple: reserve the date, show up ready to play, and help make your event one to remember.

A few things: how long we're playing, where we're headed, and how much gear we're loading into the truck. Every event is a little different, which means every quote is too. Pricing is typically based on factors such as event type, performance length, travel distance, venue logistics, guest count, and any special accommodations needed for the event. Whether you're planning a backyard birthday party, a packed brewery night, a retirement community social, or a wedding reception, we'll work with you to find the right fit and provide a clear quote upfront. No mystery math. No hidden fees. Just good music and good communication.
